Marketing=Sales?
Many business people use the terms Sales and Marketing to mean the same thing. A common error, but they are not the same, even though very closely related. Sales chases orders. Marketing strategizes what orders to chase, and then provides the tools that Sales needs to chase those orders. In order to be successful, Marketing and Sales must work closely together, as peers and partners. Neither “reports” to the other.

What we do
MMS is a business-to-business marketing project management company, assisting primarily smaller companies in the Tulsa metro area who are not yet large enough to actually have a Marketing Manager on staff. Thus marketing tasks fall on other managers, like the President, Sales Manager, or even HR. This not only takes away from their primary responsibilities, but because it is not their primary area of expertise, marketing may not be done very well, if at all. It will certainly be low on the priority list.

MMS offers the chance for you to “rent” an experienced marketing project manager on an as-needed basis. This puts project responsibility in the hands of an experienced team of professionals, and allows you and your staff to focus on the things you do best. Sometimes we find that even a larger company who has marketing staff on board will have a project that no one seems able to get to. Again, MMS is on tap, any time we are needed.
